Dr Folorunso Adewale Olabiyi

Dr Folorunso Olabiyi is a registered and licensed academic medical laboratory scientist with over 20 years cognate experience in both clinical laboratory practice and academia. He worked for seven years, seven months as a senior medical laboratory scientist at the department of chemical pathology of the prestigious, premier University College Hospital, Ibadan, Nigeria before joining academia in 2010. He holds PhD degree in Biomedical Science from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, Bellville, Cape Town, South Africa; MSc in medical laboratory science, Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria; Certificate in Immunology. He's a member of numerous professional bodies/associations both locally and internationally, notable ones include, Associate Member of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria, Association of University Academic Medical Laboratory Scientists (Nigeria), Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria,Society for Bioethics (Nigeria), Endocrine Society (USA), Society for medicinal plants and economic development (South Africa).
His research interests spans Natural Products, Medicinal Plants, Toxicology, and male Reproduction. His works are visible on Google scholar, Scopus, Academia.Edu, Research Gates academic platforms.
Dr Olabiyi is currently an Associate Professor and Sub-Dean at the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, Nigeria and a Visiting Associate Professor/Ag. Head at the Department of Medical Laboratory Science, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Kings University, Odeomu, Nigeria.
