Vice-Chancellor Tasks Staff On Professional Development

 

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Adenike Kuku has charged all members of staff to habitually seek opportunities to increase their productivity and remain relevant in their profession. Emphasising the importance of attending conferences, seminars, workshops and taking professional courses, the VC said “there is the need to regularly update your knowledge and skills to be productive and efficient in a dynamic work environment”. Prof. Kuku urged the staff members to key into the staff professional development plan of the University and be diligent in the discharge of their duties.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Adenike Kuku has alerted the University community on the evolving variants of SARS-COV-2 (COVID-  19) and the imminent need to be more diligent in the observance of COVID-19 safety protocols. In her address to the students going home for the end of session holiday, she said “be extra vigilant at home and observe all  protective measures so as not to get infected”. Prof. Kuku reaffirmed Management's position on strict adherence to all COVID-19   safety protocols on the campus in line with the Federal Government’s guidelines.
