HOD's Message

Welcome to the Department of Criminology and Security Studies. The department offers first degree and postgraduate degree programmes of various designations.

Specifically, a degree in Criminology and Security Studies at Kings University is designed to create in the students a wider consciousness towards security issues via case studies within and outside Nigeria; and provide an understanding of the mechanisms for analyzing the society and its problems through the application of Criminological theories and methods.

Since its existence, the Department has continued to pursue the mandate of empowering students to make global impacts through outstanding teaching and research.

Today, we have some of our alumni making global impacts, and addressing crime and justice issues worldwide.

It is my pleasure to invite you to explore this website for your benefit and information.
