The Department of Economics at Kings University is dedicated to developing highly skilled graduates equipped to understand, analyze, and address contemporary economic challenges in Nigeria and the global economy.

Our B.Sc. Economics programme is carefully structured to provide students with a solid foundation in economic theory, quantitative methods, and applied analysis. With a strong emphasis on econometrics, students are trained to apply data-driven approaches in solving real-world economic problems. The Department also maintains a strong policy research focus, encouraging students and faculty to engage in research that informs public policy and contributes to sustainable economic development.
