I am forever grateful to the Chancellor, Kings University, Pst. Matthew Ashimolowo for the opportunity to pursue my degree programme at Kings University under his magnanimous scholarship program even though I was not a member of KICC neither was I related to him in any form.. Mass Communication, Class of 2024
I came to Kings University with the goal of succeeding, and now I can attest to the amazing institution’s transformational ability. Financial constraints were alleviated by a scholarship, which allowed me to set out on a path of self-exploration, personal development, spiritual development and unmatched education. At Kings University, studying mass communication was a mental revolution as much as an academic one. “Building Leaders, Transforming Minds,” the university’s motto, became my compass. Through mentoring, practical experiences, and knowledgeable lecturers, I was able to acquire abilities that extended beyond the classroom: I gained confidence in my ability to use a camera, capturing the fleeting moments of life with accuracy and originality. I discovered my voice on the radio, captivating listeners with my charisma and clarity. I also became an expert in vox pop, enhancing other people’s stories with sincerity and empathy. I am grateful to Kings University for preparing me to be a leader, change agent, and difference maker in a world in need.
