Kings University, Odeomu, has received approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to run additional undergraduate programmes effective from 2023/2024 academic session. The University named the approved undergraduate programmes as Nursing Science, Public Health and Medical Laboratory Science all in the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences. Kings University Vice-Chancellor Decorated with Membership Award of the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Adenike Kuku was decorated today with a Life Member Award by the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD). This is in recognition of her outstanding contributions to research and women advancement. This was at the event of the Maiden Edition of the OWSD Southwest Conference which held at the University of Ibadan, Faculty of Science Lakeside Lecture Theatre. Notable amongst the recipients of the Award are; Professor Adenike Kuku, Vice-Chancellor, Kings University, Odeomu, Mrs. Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde, Wife of the Oyo State Governor, Professor Chinedum Peace Babalola, Vice-Chancellor, Chrisland University, Elisabeta Smaranda Olarinde, Vice-Chancellor, Afe Babalola University and other dignitaries.
